Warum in Ihrem Azure?
Skript ansehen ·
die enthaltene Seite ansehen. Was das Skript tatsächlich
hochladen würde, zeigt Ihnen ./deploy.ps1 -ShowPage.
Was angelegt wird
| Ressource | Zweck | Kosten |
|---|---|---|
| Speicherkonto (Standard_LRS) | Hostet eine einzelne HTML-Seite | Bruchteile eines Cent pro Monat |
Kein Function-Code, keine Datenbank, keine verwaltete Identität. Sie brauchen die Rolle Mitwirkender — nicht Besitzer.
Einrichtung
-
Azure Cloud Shell öffnen
und PowerShell wählen. Sie sind dort bereits angemeldet — kein lokales
Werkzeug, kein
az login. -
- Bereich „Get a Token from eBay via Your Application“ aufklappen.
Danach in Business Central
Why in your Azure?
After consent, eBay redirects your browser to an address of your choice and appends the authorization code. This code can be exchanged for a token that reads your orders — it is an access key, even if only for a few minutes.
That is why the page lives in your subscription: the code never shows up in any ALTENBRAND log. The page is static; it stores nothing and sends nothing.
The setup script is self-contained: the page is embedded in it. You download exactly one file — nothing else is fetched during deployment, and we learn neither when nor how often you run it.
If you would like to look inside first:
view the script ·
view the embedded page. What the script would actually upload
is shown by ./deploy.ps1 -ShowPage.
What gets created
| Resource | Purpose | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Storage account (Standard_LRS) | Hosts a single HTML page | fractions of a cent per month |
No function code, no database, no managed identity. You need the Contributor role — not Owner.
Setup
-
Open Azure Cloud Shell
and choose PowerShell. You are already signed in there — no local tools,
no
az login. -
Paste and run this command:
iwr https://downloads.merchantcentral.de/connector-ebay/azure/deploy-ebay-consent-page.ps1 -OutFile deploy.ps1; ./deploy.ps1 - The script asks for a resource group and region and finally prints an address. It fetches nothing along the way — it brings the page with it.
The script's prompts and messages are currently in German.
Register the address with eBay
- In the eBay Developer Portal → Application Keys → User Tokens next to your App ID.
- Expand the section “Get a Token from eBay via Your Application”.
- Enter the printed address as Your auth accepted URL — and the same one as the decline URL. OAuth Enabled must be checked.
Copy it exactly, including the trailing slash. A redirect at this point drops the authorization code — you end up on a page without a code and look for the cause in the wrong system.
Then in Business Central
Open the eBay Account → Request eBay Consent. After consent, your new page appears with the code and a copy button. Paste the code into “Enter Authorization Code” — the connector does the rest.
Sandbox and production have separate RuNames. If you use both, enter the address for both; the same page serves them.
